Who Should Buy BlueHills Blanket Pillow?
Good fit
Choose it if you want a compact travel set that combines a soft blanket and pillow case. The attached hand luggage belt and backpack clip make it easy to attach the packed set to travel bags.
It is also a fit for travelers who want one throw for flights, car journeys or camping, with a machine-washable fabric that can be used at home as well.
Who should skip it
Skip it if your priority is extensive blanket coverage: its dimensions are 60 inches by 43 inches, so consider whether that suits how you plan to use it.
Look elsewhere if you prefer a separate travel pillow and blanket rather than a case that serves as the pillow when the blanket is stored inside.
BlueHills Blanket Pillow Review Analysis
A blanket that packs as a pillow
The defining convenience is the dual-purpose case: store the blanket in its soft case and the case can serve as a pillow.
This can reduce the number of separate soft items to carry, though buyers should consider whether the packed case suits their pillow preference.
Carrying it through a trip
The case has an attached hand luggage belt, and a backpack clip is included.
Those options make it easier to keep the blanket accessible on a suitcase, hand luggage or backpack rather than burying it inside a larger bag.
Coverage beyond the airplane seat
At 60 inches long and 43 inches wide, the blanket can serve as a couch throw as well as a travel layer.
That size is useful for personal coverage, but buyers seeking a larger blanket should compare the dimensions with their usual use before packing it for a trip.
Cleaning and repeat use
Machine-washable care makes the blanket easier to maintain after travel, and its stated settings range from airplanes and cars to camping and home use.
That range helps justify carrying it beyond a single flight, especially for people who want a regular throw as well.
