detail oriented Production Artist. Candidate must have a
thorough understanding of the pre press process, a good
knowledge of design, a keen eye for detail and a disciplined,
efficient, organized workflow.
Candidate must
be able to work as part of a team, be able to take direction
as well as work independently, and work under tight deadlines.
An expert knowledge of industry standard software, including
QuarkXPress, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and PowerPoint
is required. Experience with InDesign a plus. Candidate
must have a portfolio that demonstrates design skills and
technical abilities with extensive knowledge of pre-flight
procedures. Position is more production art than design.
Job includes developing layouts from existing concepts,
creation of new files, corrections to existing files and
preparation of files to release to vendors.
Candidates must
have 4+
years professional experience with a Bachelor's Degree in
